For most Nigerians suya is life. And it’s also known that it’s mostly sold in the night by mallams and it’s a gamble sometimes it’s great other times it’s just messed up. Well I was around Allen (they have other outlets) with my mom and we decided to get some suya at university of suya. It’s quite accessible and the good thing about them is that you don’t have to wait till it’s dark to get suya, darkness is an unsaid ingredient but with university of suya darkness is already added in the day time.
The staffs are quite welcoming at least the times I’ve been there they’ve not been rude it’s also quite easy to order (pick what you want, wait till it’s heated up and sliced up for you)
Although there isn’t any sitting area the wait is quite worth it.
Back to the important thing the meat i got the beef (they have other options like gizzard) the meat was well seasoned , the pepper just mild, the meat dry but at the same time tender, together they make the perfect combo for your taste buds.
I’ll give university of suya a 4 star.
