As the food lover that I am, it’s obvious that I had to be at the GTBankfooddrink festival. The days before it I started checking which of my favs were going to be present on the day I was going ( I had to go the first day cause school 😭) food shack was there! And from the high praises I’ve been singing my mom was eager to try their food. She had their jollof rice and chicken and let me tell you the chicken was just as nice as their wing (see “food in a shack” for more info) the rice in my moms words were “on point”.
The main highlight for me was sooyah bistro, immediately i saw they were going to be there I was super excited, and they didn’t disappoint.
Although it took quite some time for my food to be ready ( mostly cause there was a crowd, and they kept assuring me that they were working on it) I got their suya melt, it had suya (you can choose between chicken and beef) mozzarella and chipotle sauce in a flat wrap. I also got extra suya separately.

The suya was amazing, the suya with the cheese was glorious, The Whole combo was heavenly, like it took me to cloud 9 and I didn’t want to leave. The suya with the cheese (oh my Goood) the feeling was amazing, it was perfectly melted goodness flexing my tastebuds. I can’t wait to try the other things off their menu. I’ll give this meal a 4 star ⭐️ and I’m definitely going back!

I must add it was quite filling.
The last stall I visited was sweet cravings dessert, they had quite a variety to choose from but as a chocolate lover I went for their chocolate chunk. The ice cream was rich in chocolate and was very chocolatey, the chocolate chunk and the ice cream together was divine. Right now I feel like going back for more. It was the right dessert to finish the day.

Although I couldn’t go through all the stalls I was able to get the names of places that their food looked good so except yummy goodness!
