My brain: don’t say it, don’t say it

It’s been a minute, and I’m so excited to be writing a foodgodmother review because I don’t know how many more when are we going to hear from TFGM I can take 🥴, well she’s here guys!!
Enough rambling, myself and my girls went out for Bolu’s after birthday eat out and from the title you can tell we went to the Instagram famous brass and copper.
The first impression people have of this place is that it’s for really big people cause of the celebs we see that go there, but to be honest it’s for us regular folks too.
First of all the restaurant has this aesthetically pleasing space ( so if you’re a sucker for aesthetics this is for you) as the name implies, the restaurant has this brass and copper theme down to the a/c and salt and pepper.
Their customer service is not necessarily the best, I legit feel I waited for forever before I got my food, I had to keep asking the waiter for the update.
Down to business, the good stuff, the food, so I had their QBC rice

First off, if you’re not a big fan of Chinese food do not under any circumstance go near their QBC rice if not you’ll end up doing what Bolu did to it.
The QBC rice is a mix of rice, eggs, shrimps, chicken and a bunch of veggies stir fried. It has this very chinesey taste, the shrimp in it was okay, the chicken a little too bland could use some pepper, at some point I had to take some sauce from Bolu’s spaghetti to eat it. The meal was there, could definitely be better. I’ll give it a 2 star ⭐️
Bolu had their naija pasta remix, which is basically spaghetti with sauce and goat meat.

The pasta was nice, the sauce was okay so was the meat although the sauce was a little too much for the quantity of pasta it was okay, if you’re more Nigerian style then the pasta remix is okay for you, another plus is it doesn’t take as much time to come out as the QBC rice.
I’ll give it a 3 star ⭐️
Lastly, the drinks section
Idara had their cranberry

and I feel nobody goes wrong with cranberry drinks, it was great, it’s a great drink to get if you want to stray away from the norm but not too far.
Their aesthetic theme makes for great pictures, it’s a beautiful place with okay food, overall I’ll give it a three star ⭐️.
