The pictures I had been seeing on social media of ofada boys ofada rice were getting too much I just had to see for myself.
Getting there isn’t so hard, most cab men know it as the place they sell rice 😂, other than that it has a wooden gate to go with the African aesthetic it has.
First off the inside, ofada boy is a very cute africanish space, it has an outdoor and indoor space, I sat outside cause it was pretty cute but I didn’t like the fact that there were a lot of flies (something should probably be done about that) asides that it’s a comfy space.
With all the hype I was getting about their rice I was expecting the most wondrous ofada rice ever.
When the rice came it looked well arranged

But the rice was cold,

so was the sauce, the plantains and the egg, basically everything was cold .
The rice was okay, Because it was cold it wasn’t all put together, the sauce was nice, I liked it, plantain is never really that nice when it’s cold 😪,plus the plantains weren’t that much, Bolu legit counted hers (they were six (6) btw😂) the egg was nice also, you could tell it had absorbed most of the sauce into it self and you all know what that means 😁

The meal in general was basic, like normal ofada rice nothing really extra except the arrangement and the space.

I must also mention their food isn’t quite pricey as it ranges from 1500.
Overall I’ll give this meal a three (3) star ⭐️
